AABB Reception – A Party with a Purpose

Friday, Oct. 13 | 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Connect and celebrate with colleagues while supporting the AABB Foundation. Open to all Annual Meeting attendees who make an AABB Foundation donation this year, this party is sure to be a fun and informal social event to kick off the AABB Annual Meeting! Refreshments provided.

Additional details will be provided prior to the AABB Annual Meeting. Attendees can make a donation to the AABB Foundation during registration or online.

Biotherapies Networking Breakfast

Join others involved in the biotherapies community for a networking breakfast. Kick off the AABB Annual Meeting connecting with colleagues old and new while discussing the latest topics in the biotherapies field.

If you are a new AABB member or a first time Annual Meeting attendee, come and enjoy lunch while learning about all of the benefits of AABB membership. Whether you are interested in AABB committees, using social media, the AABB HUB, participating in a volunteer position, or finding out about educational opportunities - you’ll learn all about it here.

Learn more about approximately 150 companies with innovative products and services in the field of transfusion medicine, cellular therapies, patient blood management and related biological therapies while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of great food and music.

AABB Foundation Run for Research

Sunday, Oct. 15 | 7:00am

The Run for Research looks different this year! Join us as we run at your pace through historic Nashville, allowing you to experience up close the cultural, historical and architectural highlights of Music City! Registration fees support innovative research and the careers of future leaders in transfusion medicine and biotherapies. A virtual option will also be offered.

Biotherapies Sizzling Topics Lunch

Sunday, Oct. 15 | 11:30am – 1:00pm

In this interactive session a panel of experts will discuss the differences across generations, barriers to job opportunities and challenges to maintaining a strong workforce. Different perspectives from a wide variety of cultural ethnicities and backgrounds and their impact in the healthcare field will be explored. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their experiences with panel experts.

Assessor Networking Reception

Sunday, Oct. 15 | 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Join your fellow AABB Assessors and AABB Accreditation staff for a networking event. Connect in-person and enjoy an evening reception with drinks, food and fun. Take the time to network with the full accreditation team and share your experiences with assessors both experienced and new.
